lol. I don't know about the "most tech-savvy guys" bit though, maybe he means "people who know things other than windows and Dells exist." Every impressive hack I've seen has used Windows, Linux or Free/Open/NetBSD according to what does the job best.

E.g. this guy used Linux on his space balloon, C# and winXP for the downlink :

Would you use iproducts for that? Not unless you wanted to risk losing $10,000 worth of hardware because it held the antenna wrong and you lost the signal.

Ah, the irony, Bruce. You may note that in response to Wolf, the one inaviidudl I referenced was you.In all honesty, I have never forgotten your orchid child writing, which truly gave me a new perspective on my younger son. A perspective that helped. A second example which has helped me in life is the following: giving is the best cure for not having. And last, but surely not least, one of your writings led me to directly ask one of my teenagers what I could be doing better as his mother. The response and subsequent discussion were nothing like what I anticipated and led to a whole other set of issues (and opportunities) to air certain topics, some of which I then wrote about. (Incidentally, while I was unable to resolve the issues, I'm convinced that knowing about them was a positive.)The fact that I was so off base on what was concerning to him taught me that I was making assumptions (though I try not to), and that regular open-ended questions are helpful in parenting preferably accompanied by copious amounts of food.

Loathe shaving, reufse to try waxing. Honestly, I was adamant about not doing anything with my pubic hair for a long time. (Well, except for shaving my bikini line, which I do because I would probably get called out on it if I didn't and because the skin there, on my thighs, is a little less sensitive and easier/not as scary to shave.) I still don't shave now, partially because I just don't care and partially because I have really dark, thick hair like, I have to shave my legs every single day in the summer if I want them to be smooth.I do trim, though, with a small pair of scissors and very carefully. It makes it easier for my boyfriend to go down on me and I really love oral sex. I'm good with this because I don't feel like I'm constructing this artificial hairless body for my boyfriend (which I know is really critical language, but I couldn't care less what other women do, I just don't care enough to be smooth everywhere all the time so it would be entirely for him) but I am making a great part of sex easier and more enjoyable for him, and it's not too hard to keep up with.

I'm not on the sidelines, I didn't write to citiicrse or lecture but to try and raise awareness about how awful a merger will be for our population. We are going into a merger without knowing all the details of the proposals (we are not allowed to see them in their entirety) but what we do know will affect many who work there and all of Trafford residents. Whoever we merge with, it will be a takeover not a merge and it will be the end of all acute services which is something I don't want to happen. Simon my hands are somewhat tied and the merger is steam rolling ahead with no pause for thought. We need an outcry from the residents of Trafford, we need them to say they don't want to travel for operations or when they suddenly become unwell. The comment to Jo was more of a warning at what she is being told compared to what is really going on, sorry if it offended

Really liking the mitcmxah coasters, a superbly stylish must-have on any dining table, but my favourite has to be the LOOK before you leap frog cushions and chairs; a humorous design that I'd never get tired of looking at.

bernie,Lomborg also clearly staets in SE that he is not a climate expert and in CI that he does believe in AGW if not catastrophic AGW.Lomborg is listed as an Expert on global warming by the propagandist industry front group Heartland Institute and has been called a climate expert by several media outlets. I did not claim that Lomborg himself was the source of the characterization, although as with the economist title he certainly seems comfortable with others attributing it to him. Also, I noted that he was not a denier in the normal sense and at least ostensibly accepts the reality of anthropogenic warming in my post.I still don't care for the level of stridency at your site.Well, I appreciate the input. I don't personally consider it to be strident in the least- I tend to view the things that really rub others the wrong way as quite humorous. The Lomborg op-ed, for example, typifies the kind of silliness one finds in many of the contrarian points of view. I find it quite amusing that the jet-setting poster boy for climate change is real but no big deal crowd is comparing his plight to those kidnapped, tortured, and brutally murdered during the Inquisition, and I intended my post to convey this.Tongue-in-cheek tends to not always translate well though this series of tubes we're communicating on, so perhaps that might be why you feel my tone is strident?Do you really think that those of us who are skeptics are delusional, liars, incompetents, manipulators, manipulated, ignorant, etc.?No, I find those that are actually skeptical to be a breath of fresh air. They are a true rarity these days. (My thoughts on those that feign skepticism but have no interest in anything other than promoting disinformation is another story ) Thanks again for the feedback, I appreciate any comments that let me know what I can do better.
